Being the pentultimate event in a large series of games, I am sure he won a massive bundle, that is of course if he didn't spend most of it afterwards celebrating at the Chicken Ranch...

Just in from Vegas..... what a trip.... I entered a 340 No Limit Holdem Event at the Orleans casino and I won the whole damm thing...
1st paid out 51,000 but we chopped it up with 4 remaining....
WHAT A RUSH!!!
I ended up being heads up with Scott Fischman (a guy that has won 2 gold Braclets this year). I evently won when he pushed all in when I had quads... KKKKQ vs. KKKQQ it was Crazy!!!!
Anyways.... I think that we should all plan another trip!!!!
Eric

1) With 12-14 people left in the tourney I took what I believed to be a 50/50 shot and sure enough it was...
I had about 50,000 chips blinds were 2000/4000 with a 500 or 700 ante (I can't remember) but I was the BB, a guy in the 5 or 6 seat raised to 10,000. Everyone folded to me the Big Blind, I look down and I have As Qs. I think about it for a second and I think that there is a chance that I can blow him off the hand, so I raise to 20,000. (in my option this was too soft a raise, I should have just pushed)
He thinks for a second, and comes back over top all in 46,000, he does not quite cover me. I now get alittle annoyed that I have put myself in this position. I think for awhile, 2-3 minutes, and decide that he has a pocket pair below the queen, a 50/50 shot, and I have over invested in the pot. So I call. Sure enough he has pocket 9's. The board Comes 5 K 3 4 2. I make the wheel. It was Ugly but it was a 50/50 non the less... There were now 12-13 ppl left and with 95,000 chips I was in a really good spot to make it to the final 4.
2) Over committed and I spike a 10 to make trips....
There are 5 tables left, I'm in the small blind and I have about 16000 chips. The Blinds are 500/1000 with a 100 ante (I think). 2 limpers (seat 5 and 9) call. Actions to me, I look down and I have QTs (isn't it always suited). I look at the big blind, it doesn't look like he is going to raise. So I call the 500. BB Checks and the flop comes 4 T J. I'm out of postion with middle pair... (why do I keep putting myself in these positions) anyway, I felt that I wanted to see where I stood (what was I thinking) so I bet out, 4000. That left me with 11000 chips. BB folds seat 5 calls and 9 folds. TURN comes Ace. I think and decide to try and bet out the scare card, in hopes that he would fold. So I bet 6000, leaving me with 5000... The Guy thinks and thinks and calls. I 'm thinking that's it I'm done! River comes Ten, I push all-in and he calls. I win the hand, he throws his hand in the muck and was mumbling alot... but I still am not sure what he had...
-It is so sweet!!!
