A couple of hands...again
These hands happened earlier this week, and felt these hand pretty much played themselves out, but a friend of mine disagree, just wanted to throw this out there to see how others feel.
I was involved in these following hands. 1/2 NL. Table has been pretty tight, only a couple of showdowns in the first 5 orbits or so, and usually its big hands (top set vs. straight, set vs. two pair). Most players at the table has been pretty tight, with 2-3 players in a rasied pot, but has seen quite a few pots which was seen 5-7 handed with all limpers. Most stacks are between $100-$150
Folded to hero in MP, and hero raise to $9 with A10s, 3 callers. Flop QQ10 rainbow. Hero fires out $15 and called by player to hero's left, who has seen quite a few flop, check/call the flop and check/fold on the turn/river if players keep firing.
Turn 5 to put 2 flush on board, hero check and villain immediately checks.
River 6, hero considered checking but decided to bet $20 and villain called
Hero in cutoff with 76s, 4 limpers in front.
I don't mind seeing a flop with this hand, so hero limp for $2, button folds and blinds complete/check respectively.
Flop J56. Checked around to hero who also checks.
Turn another 6, now with 2 spades on board. The player in BB bets $5, villain in MP who limped min-raises to $10. Villain has been tight, but he has limped into a few pots. I decided to call (but afterwards, I was thinking I should've raised to get a free showdown if I am checked to as it seems he has a 6, but I have a 6 with no kicker. At the same time, I was afraid of a push if I had raised.) and river was a 2.
Villain bets $30, hero calls
This hands was played by my friend (me railing), with my friend's thought-process. $1/2 NL - same table structure as before
Raised by a fairly tight player in MP, the player next to him called (also another tight player), and hero calls in the button with Q9s. Frlop QJ9. Villain 1 bets $15, villain 2 calls, hero raises to $45...villain 1 pushes for about $100 in total, villain 2 hesitates and calls...hero folds.
Hand results as follows:
First hand: Villain wins with AA
Second hand: Villain wins with A6
Third hand: Villain 1 shows JJ for set, villain 2 shows 1010 for OESD

Comments
I'd be inclined to try a c/r on the flop being first to act... if it gets checked through, I bet the pot on that brick turn... check the river... what's calling you that you can beat?
This is an ugly hand... 7 to flop... If I count correctly... you get neither the flush nor straight draw, but nail middle pair with no kicker... 4 checkers to me on the flop... I might bet $10 and hope everyone folds... but with the turn 6 and now a raise... I think you hand sucks... If you thought about raising to get a free showdown, "since it seems like he has a 6"... I think you would have been better of folding. Good read/bad play
I play this the same way.
It's generally better to post hands you have questions about without results, to allow for unbiased analysis.
Maybe I'll do that next time, thanks for the suggestion.
For that matter, if I knew how much in exact villain had in each hand, I would've posted it. The fact of the matter is, these guys did not stack their chips properly/neatly which was hard to get a count without asking for a count.
