May Tournament Results

The winner of the May Tournament was not a member of the Forum (actually no Forum members made it to the final table this time
).
The June $500 +$50 CPT Major event is more than ½ full, should be sold out in a couple of weeks. Players may register by phone at 1.888.294.3766 ext. 263 (toll free) with a valid Visa or MasterCard.

My gf played 5-10 last saturday, kinda advise against it cause I know players at pp aren't the nicest, as pp isn't really a tourist casino and it's full of regulars... anyhow she was there with friends and decided to play anyway...
she's a shy person so after a bit of time she started to get verbally abused as she started getting lucky with some good cards AA, KK and so forth.... basically the dealer did nothing to stop it, at the same time, when she took down a pot uncontested, others kept telling her to show her cards, she did not as she remembered i said she didn't have to....
anyhow she was yelled at to do this a number of times and she didn't, then finally they told the dealer to do it who seemed little chummy with players and he did! not once but 3 times in total, my gf didn't say anything cause she wasn't sure if she was wrong or not... i know this sounds one sided but playing at pp a lot of times I can definately see players doing this..... unfortunately she didn't get the name of the dealer but apparently it was a rather large caucasian male, which could be anybody but i will watch for him next time...
Sorry to hear about your gf's experience, actually I'm sorry and disappointed on several levels, all of which reflect on me. The most important thing to remember for your gf and really anybody else, should other players pressure, intimidate or in any other way try to influence someone outside of the rules, the best thing to do is talk to a suit right away...get up off of the game and talk to an Inspector (Green jacket) or a Pit Manager (Black Jacket) and explain your concerns...they will be addressed. Your gf has my sincere apologies and I hope this has not turned her off to our Casino. The $5-$10 game is a tough game with several players who are very good at it and all that is fine, but we do not nor will we ever tolerate anyone intimidating or in any way pressuring a player into anything at the table or on the property.

Sorry for the delay in replying, lot's of stuff going on right now. The monthly MTT $200 events usually go from 09:30 in the morning 'til about 7:00 at night. There is a break every hour and we feed you on the first 3 breaks. Issue is $2000.00 in chips, structure is below:

All of our events have the field limited to 110 players with the exception of the December Tournament of Champions which has 220 players. Hope to see you here competing.
