Charity Tournament Recap
Northred will be doing his on recap for everyone but he is at todays Round 2 of the Degree, good luck buddy. So we will write a quick summary for now.
The event was a total success with everyone playing getting some sorta of prize. On the down side there were a few people who did say they were going to attend that could not make it. But we went on with the show anyways. In the end we had Tex and Jivan chopping first place.
We had some great players from the Toronto poker community and most of the owners of the best clubs in the city here as well. It was great to see everyone coming together to support this great cause.
We even had the pleasure to play with and talk with the recent WPT Championship runner up, David Matthew. Who recently won 1.9 million not even a month ago at the Bellagio. Everyone was thrilled to be able to play at his table as well as have him answer any questions.
Would like to give a huge thanks to Northed for all his hard work both before the tourny and during the tourny. Most people do not realize how much work and time he had put into this event but I am 100% sure once everyone got to the tournament they could see his dedication to this event.
Thanks again to everyone who came out and donated prizes and hopefully we can all do this again in the future as there are many great organizations out there that can all use our help.
