Anyway to get out of this?

I'm not sure if I was blinded by the fact I was sure I had the best hand. But with a pair on board I"m always on the look out for the boat. I never put someone on low pockets especially with their out of position preflop raise.

  • In a limit game (which this looks), I never discount small pocket pairs when the board pairs.
too many chase with small pairs cause it's only 1 more bet.

  • Yes this was limit. And I never put him on a small pocket pair. If it wasn't for the 3 way action which got me very worried I possibly lose lots more here.
  • I check call river here.
  • Limit game, probably woulda played it almost the exact same... That's online poker for you.

I'm of the belief that if I'm going to check/call I'm better off to bet. Sometimes it builds me a pot, sometimes it costs me money. A few times I've been shocked that the villian has folded to my river bet, which means I got him to lay down a good hand or he was chasing more than I thought he was and decided to give it up.
  • On the turn do you think that your getting raised with A10. You have to know your beat against 3 opponents thats why I would check/call. I agree with the strategy of.... if your going to call then why not bet I just don't think this is the spot.
