Degree Tourney - Well, the Cash Game was Good
Before I even started, they broke tables and I made the first table break. We only started with 171 out of 250 in the morning session. Way better odds to last longer... So I thought..
I ended up doing pretty well and made another table collapes. I was sitting around $4800 chips or so which I figured had me in the top 25 at the time for sure. I am guessing maybe 110 or so remaining. I move tables and see another big stack there.
I don't play the first 2 hands and see this individual raise both pots and take down without showing.
Next hand, I look down at QQ. Blinds 100 / 200 I think. Call in EP, Call in EP, Raise by the madman to $650. I'm on the button and re-raise to $1300 to go. Fold, Fold and Call.
Flop come 4 , 4, 5. MP looks at me and bets $800 to go. I think about what he could have. I obviously behind with KK or AA, but, only seeing 3 hands, figure he's on A J or A 5 or somthing. I re raise to $2000 to go hoping to get him out of the pot now thinking if he re-raises I have to call now.
Obviously, he re-raises me all in and I call. He flips AA. lol
Just to put salt in my wound, turn comes an A. River, rag.. I'm out..
GOOD NEWS though, I had fun and would do it again. Also, made my way over to $2/$5 no limit and bought in for $200. I ended up leaving at 8pm and cashed out $800. Never ate but had a great time..
