Collusion rebate?

Check out this email I received from pokerstars:

Subject : Tournament Advancement

Hello Esool,

Due to recent disqualifications, your account has been credited with $22.50
due to tournament advancing.

Please bear in mind that due to security reasons, we will be unable to
share more information about the specific disqualifications, but suffice it
to say that the players involved are not and will not be playing at
PokerStars again.

We take our site's integrity very seriously, and make every effort to
ensure a place people can play without fears of cheating or collusion.
Thank you for playing at PokerStars, and have a great evening.

Best Regards,

$22.50 represents 1st place in a $5 sit n go, so I am guessing it is from one of those..Must have been a couple players "just talkin on the fone".. :D

You would think they would move up a little higher in the stakes.

They might assume that there is less policing of cheating at the lower limits by both the management and the players. Their thinking is possibly that it's a lower return, but easier to get away with.

I'm glad to see they thought wrong.

    PokerStars r00lz!

  • I'm glad to see that I play on a site that takes this issue seriously, even if it is only a $5 SNG (which is what I play almost exclusively). Three cheers for Pokerstars!
