Tournament - Act Of of turn - what can you do?

in a tournament

3 people see the flop
in order of action
A
B
C

Flop XXX
A check
C bets pot out of turn

What is allowed to happen here.

Action is on B
Does C retrack his bet?

If B bets, does C have to raise? or Call or fold?

If B checks does that make a difference to what C can do?

Comments

  • C gets a warning. And a kick in the balls.

Games I've played in, C would only be allowed to call if B bets some smaller amount. If B checks, C's would have to put in his original bet.
  • what i have seen done is that if B checks, C's bet is binding, and if B decides to bet C can do whatever
  • Warning to C, he takes his chips back. Give a second warning if he does it again. Third time his money is dead and goes into the pot, he just lost what ever he bet. There's no other way to do it than this, other wise you get into some serious psychological crap about why he bets out of turn, can he re raise etc etc.
  • Hmmm.... I think action out of turn is binding.

B can do whatever he wants, but C's money is staying in the pot. So, if C bet 100 out of turn it stays there. B can now bet 200 and C will be forced to forfeit the 100 or poney up another 100.
