13cards, are you talking about your play with regards to "Donk plays", because quite frankly, I think that Raiders played it really well.
Mid-late posiition, I call with 55 as well.
Flop like that with no likely draws, and there was no raising pre-flop, I check too.
Turn, I may have bet but the check raise was nice, and actually if you do the math, you didn't have the odds to chase with your 12 outs.
River he made a nice bet, he can't possibly put anyone on AK, AA, KK or the like since there was no betting anywhere else, I would put you on a flush too!! He trapped you into betting, and played the hand very well IMO.

It's a good trap, and I don't think you could get away with it too easily.. I think the worst play was the huge re-bet on the river... but you ahve to call at least.
