17th CROATIAN LEGEND Monthly NoLimit Event - May 7th 2006 - Results
You are invited to the 17th CROATIAN LEGEND monthly No-Limit Texas Holdem event (5th of 12 events for 2006). The results from this tournament count towards each players' annual point count. Existing and new players are all welcome.

FORMAT:
:c: $60 Rebuy Event ($10 optional bounty)
:d: Starting Chips - 2000
: Unlimited Rebuys for the 1st hour ($50 for 2000 chips) - players must have 0 chips to rebuy
:h: Single Add-on at the end of the 1st hour ($50 for 2000 chips) - players can have any amount to chips to add-on, but can only do this ONCE

There are prizes for players eliminated in 21st place and 33rd place.
There is also a prize for the first '4 of a kind' poker hand (or better).
The winner will receive the first place payout, associated points, the monthly Champion's T-shirt and hat. The winner will also win a seat at the Croatian Legend 2006 Tournament of Champions held in December(2006) or January(2007).
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 10%. Points will be awarded to the top 25% using the following equation. All participants will aslo receive, at minumum, 2 points for entering the tournament and 1 point for each hit for all players entered, regardless of what position you place in.

*If there is a dispute, seek the attention of the Tournament Director IMMEDIATELY. You may be subject to wait times, depending on the status of the Director. The Director will be as available as possible, so please be patient.
*Note that all bets and raises must meet the current minimum requirements. As there were a couple of issues at the last event from players not understanding this rule, the Director will make a special announcement to inform everyone prior to the event what this entails
*Any player that was dealt a hand at a table may request a player be put on the clock, regardless of whether they have a live hand or not. This too will be explained in greater detail prior to the event, on location.
*Please note
A BBQ Dinner is going to be offered at the event. The BBQ dinner will include a T-Bone steak, potato salad and a bun. The BBQ at the last event appeared to be a hit. For $12 you can't go wrong.
Prebooked reservations for the BBQ dinner are $12.00 or $14.00 on the tournament day.

(I am lazy, that is why the layout isn't neat).
Every player who entered this event was awarded 2 points. Each player was also awarded a point for every person they took out, regardless of whether they had a bounty or not. 25 of the 32 players did a bounty. Top 10 were awarded additional points. 1st got 10 points, 2nd got 9 points, ... 10th got 1 point.
Cash prizes were awarded to the Top 6 finishers. First place prize was over $1500.
I would like to thank all those people who showed up yesterday. Especially those who arrived on time or early. Thank you to those who showed up later... at least you made it.
Dinner appeared to be a success again. Thank you Meri for the wonderful meal (and you too Branko...
I can't wait for the next event. The venue for the next event is changing and will include a pig/lamb roast. Information to follow in the upcoming weeks.
