My bankroll is shrinking
Sigh, why can't poker sites use a strong currency like the Cdn$ instead of the US$. Everyday my bankroll is worth less.
Canada's Dollar Sets New 14-Year High Following Rate Increase
April 26 (Bloomberg) -- The Canadian dollar set a new 14- year high on speculation the Bank of Canada will keep lifting borrowing costs. Two-year government bond yields rose to the highest since June 2002.
The currency rallied after the bank raised the benchmark rate to 4 percent from 3.75 percent and said ``some modest further increase'' in borrowing costs may be needed after six straight boosts. Higher rates can attract investors to a country's financial assets, boosting demand for the currency.
``Canada is still on a hiking path,'' said John Rothfield, a senior currency strategist in San Francisco at Bank of America Corp. ``This is very constructive for the Canadian dollar.''
The Canadian currency climbed to 88.76 U.S. cents at 9:25 a.m. in Toronto, the strongest since Nov. 8, 1991, from 87.92 cents yesterday. One U.S. dollar buys C$1.1270. Rothfield predicts an advance to C$1.12 by year-end.

Public Service Announcement - it's now called the TSX, they don't trade futures (anymore but they might again...) and they don't have a trading floor. We can debate whether it would be ETF, ALGC, OSC or a joint task force doing the raid.
