Live Omaha Tourny stratagy
So im plannin on playin in a Pot limit Omaha Tourny commin up here. Just wondering on thoughts about stratagy. Should i play this like a normal pot limit cash game. Or a lot more tight and stuff like i would play a NLHE tourny.
I havent played in any pot limit tournies and im just wonderin on how most ppl u guys play against usually play thier cards. Are most ppl fairly loose like a usual pot limit cash game, or do ppl tend to tighten up a lot in these tournies????
I dont really know what to expect. Any thoughts or suggestions on strategy would be awsome. My general strategy for cash games is failry aggressive and im not afraid at all to take stabs and play some low double suited connectors in hopes of a low flop. Should i avoid these completly in Omaha tournies and stick to just good high cards. I really like the way i play cash games in Omaha and i tend to make lots of money the way i play. But will this strategy kill me in tournies, or do i keep with what works?
Any help or suggestoins would be awsome.

- Raise pre-flop when in position with a hand where all the cards interact.
- If you don't have two pair at least, don't play.
- Pounding on the shorter stacks isn't always effective, because you're never TOO dominating.
- Don't worry about slow playing, people will pay you off 99% of the time.

Generally, though, solid ring game strategy will work for any tournament. When in doubt forget it's a tournament and simply look for positive EV spots.
The edges are way smaller pre-flop in PLO. Way smaller. If you are with deep chips and opponents who will pay you off with marginal hands (overpair, two two, second set) then the implied odds in PLO go crazy.
