  • Whatever the route taken, the ending was the same. He could have raised you all in postflop, or on the turn, but opted instead to just check you down and have you bet into him. No fear had he.

    Other than going bigger preflop, I don't think you could have gotten away from this. The check/call/check/call practise of the villian would be something I would definitely watch for next in a hand with him though.
