I had a hand yesterday play .50/1.00 limit, sitting in MP with AK, it's raised from EP, I re-raise, button cold calls two bets?
Flop AK5 ranbow...I bet, am raised, we cap, turn a 4. I bet and am called. River a 3, I bet and am raised? hmmmm A2, he can't be on A2?
I call, he flips over A2o for the pot.
Low Limit Hold'em is brutal for people playing A-rag, they suck....but, I've learned now not to freak out. I just added a note to this player and will look for him in the future...I want him chasing that straight every time, I'll get my money back from him!!!

I really don't think either call is that bad of a call. Hand 1 given your chip stack I don't think it's terrible and I think you played it too weak, I would have pushed pre-flop and most definitely on the flop but he likely calls either way?

The second hand I think the post flop call could be debated, however so could your pre-flop call I mean seriously 45 offsuit, yuck!!! Even though the flop hit you hard what do you think your opponents put you on, definitely not 45!!!!! That said I'd likely fold the post flop bet because I am weak tight but I think some could argue it was ok, once the turn comes all his chips are going in.

The $3.40 PLO8's are my guilty pleasure. You don't even need hands to win. Play ultra tight until the 200/400 blinds level then push all-in preflop 5 handed. They're so tight, they'll fold you the blinds.

are you kidding? Those aren't bad at all. You checked your way to the the turn on the first one, had no chips and the other guy had some outs. Second hand he had calling hand and also had some outs.

Try beting beat by 1-2 outs like the rest of us have.

Beat # 1....Bet the damm flop because by checking he then thinks his 7 is good.
Beat # 2...fold the damm hand pre flop and you won't get in trouble with it.
