I guess this is fine, he's pretty much pricing you in on very street which is strange but I don't think I can find a fold until the river even though I'm not happy about calling those bets. Weird betting pattern by him. Maybe his 89 got there on the river or something.

what did you expect? Low cards all the way? Either play the hand stronger on the flop/turn or get out of the hand all toegether.

It's stars......fold everything preflop so you don't have to worry about the river......
PS he was playing ya in my opinion......
