Click on the HELP icon. It has everything you need to know to set it up. Use the default player descriptions though, don't try to set them up yourself for now.
You save your hand histories and import them to the prgram and it gives stats on you and your opponents. $50 I think. I've never heard anyone say that it isnt worth the money. And if you get this I also recommend this program http://pokeracesoftware.com/

Also you will want to use Auto Import (insert name of site you play on here), so that you have things to look at in the above area.
