You can start an interest list for any limit game. Not sure how many they need to run the game but I've seen interest lists with over 10 people on it but haven't seen it run yet.
At Rama today they waited till they had over 20 to open a 5-10 table. Once they got to 20 again they opened another. I played 2-5 for 3 hours waiting for the 5-10 to open.
Usually runs on Tuesdays -- they also get 25/50 running as well. It doesn't run too long -- as soon as the donators are done, the game breaks. Mix is about 50/50 donators to decent players and the decent players aren't that good. I wouldn't play it unless you have a deep bankroll because the swings will be wild.

50/50 donators sounds good to me! i'll probably try to make it out on tuesday. you say it doesnt run too long... what time does it normally start?
I found it generally gets going after lunch. I've been there once where it was running from the night before -- don't think this is common.
The usual decent 20/40 players will win in the 50/100. I know the faces but the names of the good players don't jump out -- Trey (who I don't think is that good -- just much better than his competition), Frankie (who's only good if he's not tilting and tilts too easily), Old annoying tall slim guy with white hair and glasses, come to mind as the winners in the game.
You can get buy in the 20/40 game with poor pre-flop skills because of the horrible play post-flop. But in the 50/100 you'll need both pre-flop and post flop skills as you won't get paid nearly as much.
Good luck -- I will likely be there this Tuesday -- likely 10/20 or 20/40. My bankroll/stomach can't stand the swings of the bigger game.
There were two 50/100 tables running yesterday. Unbelieveable they have so much interest in the game. Both were nice and juicy, and the 20/40 was pretty darn good as well.

Funny... I was there last night as well. I was in Brantford for work (shooting a Rex and Melissa concert... the two Idol finalists from '05...), finished at around midnight, and headed to the casino to play some 20/40 for about an hour or so. I was at the feeder table, which broke. The main game was at the table right next to the feeder, and there were 3 women at the table. Are you telling me, Lou, that you were at the main game, the very next table over, and we didn't notice??? LOL. Maybe you weren't there at the time.
50/100 was going, with seats available. After working for around 14 hours, I chose not to play in the game. I saw a BIG guy (I mean he was like 7 feet tall and 300 pounds... his hands were the size of my head...) cash out about 5K in green chips at the cage. Not too shabby. And one guy at my 20/40 table had played the 50/100 that night and lost about 2.5K, he said.
The 20/40 game was OK, but I'd MUCH rather play 30/60 at Party or 25/50 at PokerRoom, etc etc.

Too much house painting and stuff, and I'm not keeping up. My shift ends around 7:30 pm, so we did miss each other. I find the BCC games much better than the party games these days -- although I haven't ventured into the 30/60. Most party tables on the 15/30 & 10/20 are around 20% VPIP and pretty yucky. Still easy games even though they are tight, but it gets hard to make up for a bad beat here and there. One pot at BCC can get you home for the night at 3BB/hr.
My good buddy played the 50/100 on Tues. Said he was forced to play alot tigher than his usual crazy aggro game because of his seat position, but a good game nonetheless.
I haven't been there for the latest reincranation of the 50/100 game, but the 10/20 table I played at last Thursday evening had more chips in play than the two 20/40 tables. It was wiiiiiild. A great game to play in, if you were patient (and careful).
