NON hold'em games spread in Ontario
Sorry if this topic's been done before, but is Brantford, Niagara or Rama spreading anything but hold 'em these days? I'm pretty sure Brantford only has hold 'em. Niagara does state on their website that they have other poker games, but I'm doubtful.
What about the others? I'd like to play some Omaha and Stud (regular or hi/lo). And I also think these games might be a little fishier for anyone with some book knowledge or on-line experience...(Wrong or right?)
What about the Seneca Niagara casion on the U.S. side?

We usually spread a $30-$60 Omaha Hi only game 2 or 3 nights a week. Call the Poker Pit (toll free)1.888.294.3766 ext. 263 and see if the game is in action and what the wait list is like. All the Casinos in the province can spread pretty much any Poker game the players want to play...it seems the players really only want to play Hold'em. It really stumps me why players will break a 6 or 7 handed Hold'em game rather than play Stud until a few players come in and then go back to Hold'em. Oh btw I'm with The Great Blue Heron Casino in Port Perry, we're about 45 minutes north and east of Scarborough. Maybe you'll start a trend for different games.
Cheers,
Lee
Great action.
Ontario Charity Casinos can only spread limit games or Tournaments, therefore... No-Limit or Pot-Limit is out of the question at this point in time. The only reason we get the Omaha Hi game on a regular basis is because that is what the players want to play. There are never more than one or two folks who even ask for a Hi-Lo game and even less who want to play Stud. geeto is right there are not many dealers who deal all of the games, but there are enough that do, and if players want a game, we'll spread it.
The 20-40 Omaha Hi game is now a 30-60 Omaha Hi game and it usually fires up on a Friday night and runs through Saturday, also has been known to start mid-week but breaks after 7 or 8 hours.
cheers,
Lee
