  • I have never heard of poker on a cruise ship other than on a designated "poker cruise." This might have changed since the cruiselines will have been given a sneak preview on the popularity of poker -- they have been running poker cruises which now take up the WHOLE ship!

    Happy Canada day! :canada:
  • yeah, I've only heard of the WPT event being a full on poker cruise. Sounds like a dream vacation to me... ship+food+women+poker=OVERLOAD!!!
  • I was on 2 Carnival cruise ships, the Pride (2003), the Legend(2004) both ships do not have poker tables in the casino. Sorry....
  • no poker on the boat (carnival miracle), which resulted in me dropping a few hundered in the casino.

i did find a small $0.50/$1.00 with some people one day but otherwise nothing

fun part was the pit boss trying to convince me i was the first person to ask about a poker table. instantly two other people from tables within earshot heard 'poker table' and asked did you say they have a poker table.

i know space is scarce, but damn they should add two hold'em tables.
  • Thread, Carnival does have poker on certain ships at certain times. Go to PokerKruises.com They are also at cheaper prices than can be found elsewhere.
  • If there is no 'official' poker on your cruise, I would suggest talking to some of the people working on the cruise. When I was in Halifax, there were a few staff from one of the cruise ships that has docked (one guy was a dealer and the other an actor) who played cash games amongst themselves.

    Good luck and have fun.

while i'm sure you're joking, unless you're playing 100/200 or something i doubt you would want to pay the access charges, i don't recall the exact charges, but they were really expensive
