Degree Poker - March 22nd draw

Good luck to everyone today who has an entry in for the Degree Poker draw. Post here if you make it in (that'll let the rest of us know to check our email!) So far, my inbox is looking a little empty....

    selection will be made at 2pm today; emails likely to follow later in the afternoon/tomorrow morning I would expect.

    Have to fax the waiver withiin 72 hrs...

    I hope I don't blow the skill -testing question....

    I am still "waiting by the phone" with you Shannon. Keep fingers crossed for the next draw. I imagine that a computer does the "random draw" which also means that it can send out the emails pretty quickly.

    12x5 = 60/6 = 10 + 72 = 82 - 36 = 42

    Alternately, you could put the correct answer of 46.

    Don't give up hope. There's probably a second round of contestants in a few days...

    Gotta fill all the voided seats for people faxing in 42 as the correct answer.

    Just curious if anyone knows or read the rules thoroughly. A friend of mine got an e-mail accepting him, but he is not yet 21 (but will be when the tournament takes place), is he still eligible for it?

    that quite definitely is the answer. I think the problem, to be quite honest with you, is that you've never actually known what the question is

    "Entry into the Contest is limited to individuals who are legal residents of Canada (excluding the province of Quebec), who are 21 years of age or older with valid proof of age. "

    Seems to indicate you must be age 21 for 'entry' into the contest.  He can always take his chances I guess.

    From the DP: Contest Rules page:

    "Draws will take place in Toronto, Ontario at 2 pm local time on the following dates: March 22nd, March 29th April 5th, April 12th and April 19th 2006."

    Nothing for me either.

    Hopefully I dont have to wait till the last minute and try and get a random walkup seat or whatever they do at the end this time. They had like 400+ ppl last time I can only imagine how many people would show up this time.

    This is only the 1st of 4 draws. 527 entrants selected today, 529 on each of March 29, April 5th and April 12th. Looks like 300 walk-up seats too. So don't give up yet!
