Hey Folks,

For all of the Mini-Tournament players at the Great Blue Heron ...

Starting today we will be running two tables for the Mini-Tournaments every Wednesday and Thursday. This should help cut down the wait times significantly. Please call the Poker Pit (toll free) 1.888.294.3766 ext 263 to find out what is being spread and the wait times for the various limits.

Remember folks, anytime you are in the Casino please ask if I'm on duty and say hi.

Me too, I used to like those mini tourneys.
Heard a rumour that GBH will be non smoking as of June, if so, I'll be back.
Can you confirm that rumour Lee?

Hey SOS,

Most rumours should not be believed. But this one just might be true.

Seriously, we now have a full non-smoking pit in the Casino for BJ and Mini-Bac and that June 1 date seems like a pretty good bet to have a fully non-smoking Casino. I'll post when it does become official.

Hey folks,

SOS, you are a sweet talker ; )

To comply with the forthcoming Ontario legislation, there will no smoking anywhere in the building starting the 1st of June 2006; we will have places set up outside the building for people who wish to smoke.

Some of our staff may be a little grumpy sooner than the first of June; the staff smoking room will be closing on the 10th of April and staff will have to go outside to smoke after that date. But from what I hear most of the staff are very pleased with the progress of going non-smoking.
