I mean his luck, not his skill.  He managed to get aces 3 times in a row, but last night I got them 3 times in 4 hands!  I'm not sure which was luckier though, getting them, having them hold up, or getting paid off with them.  This was at a PartyPoker $50 NL (0.25/0.50) table.

    Nice to get paid out like that too - what were the comments in the chat like??

    I got AA back to back in a tourney at G2s once.

    Unfortunately, they were during the first blind level.

    The first pair - I made hardly anything but showed.

    Second pair - made a nice pot - after the opponent stated that I couldnt have AA again. :>

    Last night in our SNG: first hand dealt AA - get it all in and take out JJ for all his money :D:D
      second hand dealt AA - say "aces again!?!" as I min raise and only win the blinds
    (guess they believed me!! I wouldn't!!)

    and of course getting dealt back-to-back pocket AA's to start the SNG I was destined to be bubbleboy :'(

    Off topic, but...

    In a lunch tourney at work I once had 4 pocket pairs in a row (odds against: 80000/1) and they all held up (odds against: infinity + 1/1). It was sweet.

    Its amazing that both AA hands held up as well as paid out. I've had AA dealt to me 4 time out of 8 hands but it was Omaha. Twice I hit trips on the flop and one of those turned into a boat. Lost with the other 2.
