What ever happened to London's Ryder Cup Team?

a while back i read about some teams forming from London for the Ryder Cup Serires. Does a team exsist still and does it need a spare?

    The Ryde Cup has already taken place and London did not field a team at the event.

    If I remember correctly, a couple of them had to cancel at the last minute, and the team withdrew from the tourney.
