Freezeouts versus Rebuy/addon

Poker players.

Just trying to get a feel for what type of tournaments are more appealing to the players in this forum.  Particularly in the K/W area.  We have a venue already booked for and April 1st event, but the jury is out as to what format we are going to use. (yes i know its april fools day)

We may even consider an OMAHA tournament, for those of you who like to change it up a bit.

when are you giving details about the event itself?

The event will be decided by this weekend. We have a few polls to consider, plus the $100 +$10 freezeout that is happening this Friday. If you haven't registered for that event, and would like to, I would suggest doing it sooner than later.

Depending on the results from the Friday Freezeout and the results from the polls, we will decide which format to use. Ultimately, the format will determine blind structure, starting chips, bounties, etc... I don't want to have a RB/AO starting with 10000 chips for example.

The april 1st event will be at the same location as this friday's freezeout (only registered players will get directions to the event)

Given the results of conversations I had with people at the revised harley tournament, a 60 Rebuy tourney was quite popular. Given that information and the results from the forum (as meagre as they are), our April 2nd event will be a rebuy tournament. for details, check it out here:
