Poker Stag and Doe for Mike and Marcia
Instead of the regular stag and doe we have decided to hold a No-limit Texas Hold'em Tounement instead.
Where: Brampton Legion - 40 Elizabeth St. Brampont
When: Saturday April 1st, 2006 at 12:30pm (starts at 1pm)
Cost: $50 for 2500 chip entry
$25 for 2500 rebuy (unlimited for the first 2 hours)
$25 for 2500 add-on (one time only at the end of the 2 hour mark)
Prizes - If we sell a hundred tickets the top 10 will pay out, with a top prize of $1300.00 (thats a low ball estimate because I'm not going to add on the rebuys and add-ons to the prize amounts until the day of the Tourny. As well I've only estimated it at 100 players. If we get 200 it will be double that plus re-buys and add-ons)
Tickets - can be purchased through Rohit who will be selling them at the Westside Tournament on March 25th or by calling Mike at 416-371-4656 or Chris at 905-699-2714. Or by emailing at mikespokerstag@hotmail.com
Food - The only thing traditional about this is going to be the food. No one need bring any money for food because there will be tons of it in a buffet style, which will be done during an hour break at the 2 hour mark.
Drinks - We are not taking any part of drinks so they will be sold at Legion prices, which is dirt cheap.
Tell your friends, all are welcome. There are 240 spots available, so this could turn out to be a really good time and quite profitable for the top finishers. The more tickets we sell in advance the better for us, but we will be selling tickets at the door for those who cannot purchase ahead of time.
Directions - Its easy to find. Take Highway 10 (or Hurontario) north from the 401 past Steeles to Frederick St. Go Left on Frederick (or West) and then a quick right on Elizabeth st (or North) and the Legion is on the Right (East) side.
