Thanks for the hospitality, Joe n Amy n esp for those the killer chicken wings..
  • LOL, thanks, yell at environment canada, they were forecasting sunny and 16C so we didn't make provisions to play inside but use the garage. At least for june we should get a little more co operation (I hope)

    J & A -

Thanks for another great day of poker - it feels great to win one! :D:D

Congrats to Heather in her first tourney! :D Nice finish.
Congrats to SOS and Wicked for making the money without rebuying! :D

The poker, the players, and especially the buffet was above par - as usual.

Thanks again - job well done!
  • Thanx KRT the turnout was below average, but the play I think was way above average.   You had to play some damn good poker to make it to the final table.   I had my favourite hand (suited q) run into A 10 to go out..   HEATHER took down my Qx suited with her A 10
  • Sorry it took so long to post. I only just now thawed out...

Anyhow, just want to mention and agree that both Joe and Amy are very good hosts and run a top notch rakefree home game.
No other host I know of would literally give you the shirt off her back just because it was a bit cold.
Had a blast, was chipleader with 3 to go and ended up 3rd. Congrats to Kevin on the win and Heather on a very good 2nd
If anyone likes the spicey wings, make sure you sign up for the next tourney.
