I interpreted it that you were laughing at me, given the context. It seemed to me that the "LOL" remark was made after you had just finished attempting to make one of my previous Mod decisions look foolish.
Whether or not this was your actual intent, I decided that there would be no harm in making a restatement of the exact reason that you were temporarily banned, primarily for the benefit of anyone else who read your post.
So, over two weeks after my "incident" and after I had my temp banning, I am now no longer to make any comments regarding the situation without getting personal attacks from ScottyZ? Why do I suddenly get all of these dead-link threads in my Inbox, all from ScottyZ? Is this abouse of power? Or just a childish moderator, upset that some people agree with me?

And notice how it says a "a reply has been posted to a topic you are watching by ScottyZ" BUT THERE IS NO POST FROM HIM. So, did he just clutter my Inbox to prove a point?
So, did he just clutter my Inbox to prove a point?
He cluttered the forum to prove a point, and then he resigned.Â
He did prove a point, not with his posts, but with his resignation. If enough people take shots at a moderator (and by shot I do not mean a constructive question or post, but a snide or sarcastic comment), the whole community loses.
Each of the emails I received was notification that ScottyZ had replied to a topic regarding the Degree Poker Championship. These were all of the threads that I posted in about 2 weeks ago, and what I was subsequently banned for.
Now, ScottyZ does NOT have a post at the end of these threads. So why did I get these emails? I am just asking as it seems strange that he gave up being moderator the same day I get these 10 notifications.
Scotty deleted his posts to avoid cluttering the forum. You simply didn't check back early enough.
I think you are wrong here, beanie42. And then you go on to say...
He cluttered the forum to prove a point, and then he resigned.
I actually just realized how satisfying my little stunt was.
In order to demonstrate how annoying it was for 13CARDS to place identical posts in 10 different threads, I precisely reproduced his actions and placed identical posts in 10 different threads myself. My intention was to show how the forum how annoying this is. However, I didn't want to be a permanent annoyance, so I deleted these threads shortly afterwards. (If you did not visit the forum between the time I posted the threads and the time I deleted them, you might be confused as to what's going on.)
So what is so satisfying? In attempting to demonstrate to the forum how annoying 13CARDS's previous actions were by exactly copying those actions, I have genuinely annoyed 13CARDS himself.

Nice, spammers that are randomly quoting people... Semi-original I guess...
No you didn't. You were banned for placing an identical post in 10 different threads.

LOL
Scotty is no longer a moderator. He resigned yesterday.

Did we ever?
Yes, you've caught me red-handed. This was all an elaborate scheme to send 10 automatic email notifications to 13CARDS.
Actually, this was the entire intent of PokerForum.ca from its very inception. The discussion of poker and such was merely a ruse.
Mission accomplished, and thanks to everyone for your participation!

Is this the act of a responsible member?

Sometimes things just work out.
