WSOP Final Satellite
One of the Prizes for the for Woodman Tourney was a $275 WSOP (satellite)grand final seat, which will gives me a 1-50 chance to win a $12,500 WSOP main event package on Poker.com. Now currently there 27 people registered for the next game which will be on March 12th, the maximum number of seats for this tournament is 300 the minimum is 50 as there is one seat for every 50 entrants.
The question is should I try to play a game that has more people which means more seats but also means a longer game against a larger field, or should I go for a smaller game with fewer seats but against a smaller field and shorter game?

How bad would it suck to finish 2nd in the 50-man event? Pretty bad. For that reason alone I would roll with the larger field. With only one winner, the pressure is higher. Sure the bigger field makes it more difficult, but you don't have to be the winner. Plus in the bigger field, I am assuming guys are going to be playing super-tight come bubble time. Are you a good bubble player? If so, I'd reckon there would be a lot of spots to pick up chips if you get down to the final 15...
It's a free-roll for you anyways, so just have fun with it. Good luck.
I'm think the same thing AK*1.....I think I'm going to wait until at least 150 players so there are at least 3 seats. I figure with more players it will give me a better shot at getting a seat as I find that heads up can be a real coin flip sometimes, not so much on a shorter table.
For this 12th there are less then 50 people so I don't think I'll do it this week. The marketing guy for the site told me they have then every other Sunday but didn't so for how long but I figure there' still a few months before they stop running them. Thanks for the info.
BTW how did you find the play? Players/Blind structure?
