Casino Niagara Dealer improvement

I went to casino Niagara yesterday and I have to say that the dealers must have had a training course or two since last time I was there.  They opened up all cards and allowed people to see all winning hands and insured that the pot was awarded properly everytime.  Nice to see that improvement.

  • I have noticed as well that they are now as a rule telling players to show both hole cards when they try to be 'cool' and only show one. I also noticed that certain dealers are no longer there - some I wished still were but most I am glad are not.

They have seemed to tighten up the ship a little bit. I'm glad to see it too.

So if I bluff at the pot and muck my cards at the showdown (cause I lost), everyone gets to see may cards????

    If so, that sucks :rage:

If they called you down and asked for it they do.  If you want to muck them you can but the option is there for people to see them. If you want to be awarded the pot the open them all up and place them like you see on tv and then muck the losers then award the pot.
  • and believe me people are going to ask to see your cards. Its a "security precaution" that is abused on almost every hand.
  • The last time I was there I noticed this too. The dealers did not make one mistake. It was very nice to see.

ya really, this happened to me at the CNE and the guy asked to see my cards, and I was like, "dude, just take the pot" and he made the dealer flip them over. I was pissed
  • I believe the correct response to "Can I see that hand" is to fulfill their request and give them an extreme closeup of the hand as you slap them across the face with it.
  • Actually that's good to hear. I wonder if I can go back now as last time I was escorted out of the casino by security after telling the dealer and the pit boss neither were fit to bring water to the table let alone deal cards. This was after both misawarded a hand (they called it a chop) that should have gone solely to me. There was a post earlier on this and moose so correctly guessed the dealer...... I haven't been back since. Maybe a road trip is in order.
  • AcidJoe....I would love to know which dealer and floor were responsible for this. I fully understand if you choose not to divulge this information.
