1st Hour of Rebuy Tournaments Thread
I decided to start a thread about the crazy stuff I see in the first hour of the Stars 10+1 rebuy tournaments. They have them nightly, and I play them a lot, and I see all kinds of unusual things and I think: I should start a thread about some of the crazy stuff I see in the first hour of the Stars 10+1 rebuy tournaments.
Feel free to add to this list if you see anything unusual in the rebuy period of any tournaments you play. It doesn't matter if you're in the hand or not... actually, it might be better if you're not, because then it won't come off as being a dreaded 'bad beat' story.
Here goes....
Level III 25/50
The world calls 50 to me, and I call as well with 5d 6d.
Guy to my left (we'll call him MP) raises 150 to 200.
Guy to his left (we'll call him LP) re-raises 350 to 500.
Folded to the UTG limper, who calls the 500 raise.
Folded all the way back to MP, who raises 2150 to 2700 and is all-in.
LP calls the 2150.
Now UTG raises another 975 to 3675 and is all-in.
LP calls a bit short and is all-in.
UTG has Ad 2h
MP has 6c 6h
LP has 9s 9c
And the best hand won!
I'll try to post more of these, and like I said, I'll try to post ones that I'm not involved in. My notes on these guys are getting pretty extensive... I tried to take notes about myself (maniacal calling station, etc...) but the software won't let me.
