Few LL hands

Just a few low limit hands, any thoughts appreciated...

1) Villain is basically a LA-P that will bluff on occaision. Stats are 58/14/1.79

Is it just me or does this not look like a missed draw trying to salvage the pot (hoping that I don't have a Q)?
Fold, call, or raise?

These spots always confuse me. The check-raise either means he improved on the turn (which I likely have beat unless he has AT or T8), or he was slowplaying a flopped set. Fold, call down or 3 bet?

I'm getting 9:1 here with middle pair, and some backdoor draws. Enough to peel? (anyone fold this preflop getting like 7:1 in the BB?)

4) Villain seems fairly solid, but a super aggressive stealer if folded to him in LP or SB... Is this too weak to defend with here? Recently I've gotten to the point I'll defend almost any 2 in this spot when I have position... (And yes I realize I got a very good flop here, but I'm more concerned with whether I'm finally starting to defend enough or whehter I've possibly shot past that and am now defending too much).

Comments

  • 1. I have no idea what the hell this means. I guess if you think he has complete air call but i'd hate to call and lose to ace high here. Go with whatever read you have.
    2. I would call down but expect to be beat unless he's super passive maybe I can find a fold. There are enough legitimate hands to checkraise or semibluff with here that you beat that folding seems bad against most players.
    3. Checkraising seems right to me. Raiser will probably auto-bet that flop with anything you should try to get rid of the other guy I think, way too good odds to fold especially since you might be ahead. Seems like an easy call preflop also.
    4. Sure, sometimes I will raise the flop hoping he 3-bets so I can call and raise the turn if he's really aggressive but this is fine too since you at least want to get a turn bet out of him and he likely doesn't have much of a hand. Mix it up based on player and what you've done in any previous hands.
