A look at the CPF shirt

This is the first of what will become at least 2-3 styles. Black, with the logo centered and the url underneath. Will be added to the store shortly.

  • The shirt looks pretty good, how is the quality of the fabric? I only ask because sometimes you get those concert t-shirts that last for about two weeks.
  • for what it's worth, it's 9oz cotton....whatever that means. They are quite durable to the touch. I ordered 20 to start with, if the quality isn't good for whatever reason, I'll 'upgrade' but they seem as good quality as any good T-Shirt youd' buy at a store.
  • Sounds good. Just sometimes T-shirts come soon thin you can see through them.
  • It would be nice to have some on hand at the Royal Cup. I bet you would sell quite a few.

Or drop off a box at The Bristol Street Nightclub and Casino!!
  • I think the shirts are a great idea. Just be careful with the quality of the printing on them. Some last for about 2 washes and then thats it. I had a nice shirt that I bought when I was in college for my program that I was in, and the printing lasted about 3 or 4 washes. Now its all cracked etc.

But I would definetly want to order 1.

you should also consider having hoodies, longsleeve tee's etc made. maybe even baseball hats as well, i like the design though.

different styles/choices like hoodies etc. are a certainty. I actually got the call today that they are ready to be picked up. These are from a reputable company that do this for a living and have had a storefront for 3 years. I doubt they'd be around still if their customers logos were gone after a few washes...I know I wouldn't stay with them if that is the case. I want the CPF logo out there more than anyone, so I definately don't want to put crap out there.

My wife had Tshirts made up for her program @ university as well...and yes, they looked good for a few weeks until after a few washes. I daresay that whomever was putting the shirts together for school was looking for price rather than quality.
  • I can't believe that the CPF store - affiliated with poker players - doesn't accept neteller!!

  • it can definately be arranged...certainly if you'd like. I meant to include mention of that.

As far as I can tell, 1 size fits "most" :)
  • Ooh! I'm a most... what's the cost?

    Mark
  • To my knowledge, or because I'm too lazy to look, there isn't an actual module to accept neteller payments for online stores, so sales of any items for those of you wishing to use neteller can be handled via pm/email. I'll have to take a look at the fees neteller will be charging as well and will post that info here soon-ish.

The store says $17 with tax n/a, but I'd be interested in confirmation from Sloth first.
  • eeeek. I have to remember tax on the shirts. The chip sets etc, are shipped out of Calgary and don't have PST, but the shirts would...so it should be $17 + 15% tax....going to change that now. Also need to add poker tables to the store as well...
  • No special discount for the first ones to own the CPF shirts? :D
  • So, the shirts would be 17 + 1.36 PST + 1.19 GST = 19.55 . Since I'm lazy, I won't make change at Bristol. I'd request/recommend that anyone purchasing a shirt tonight consider a single $20 bill and donate the $0.45 to Sloth for maintaining the forum :) . Otherwise, bring exact change!
  • Anyone who gets a shirt can get repaid in CPF bucks.. :)

Or... wait, I think I just did by posting this...

If you really want your .45 you're a cheap bugger.

  • The shirt looks kind of weak.

The logo needs to be just a little bigger. .

    Thats just my opinion. :)
  • that isn't a photo, it is a rendering done by the printer and is really just meant to show logo placement.

  • oh ok :)

Maybe since the logo is so small, want to try putting it on the chest corner?

    And keep it classy?

do you mean classy or classic? Yes, most tshirts sport a logo on the left chest, that is one style of many that will be available. There will be options down the road.

    the idea is:

spend $400 on shirts, get $490 in return, put all $490 back in and expand line...get $580 in return, put $580 back in to expand...

    lather rinse repeat.
