Anybody use western union to send money?

if so, did they encounter any problems
i'd like to send to a reputable book if possible i.e pokerstars.

I haven't used it. I always use it at work to send peoples money. I thought about it but I figured it costs too much. 17 bucks to send 100. I wonder if there are any sites that pick up the cost though.
