Windsor Casinot tourney reminder

Hey fellow Canucks.  I hope to see some of you Friday at the $500 buyin tourney at Casino Windsor.  If you make it there ask any staff for Omaha Ed so I can say.  For the uninformed the tourney is at noon Friday January 27th and I believe there are still openings (100 player max).  The tourneys there are well run and a good structure. --- On another topic, I also hope to see some of you in the Bahamas for the Paradise Poker Bahamas Conquest in May.  I won my seat last weekend and it should be a great event if you are looking for something to play towards.  Thanks, Omaha Ed.

Great turnout for the first big tournament with 70 entrants. Hari S took down 1st place and the $10, 500 top prize. Final friday every month at NOON.

Can you provide more details? Specially, I'm looking for the starting chips and blind schedule. Level of play and personal tournament reports would be good too. Thanks!!

I've played with him frequently and he is an excellent player if that's the case.

Is that little Hari? He is pretty good. i went to school with him. He also won a tourney in Sarnia for $30K or so my Bro finished final table with him and got a bit of his action.

Yes it was little Hari from Sarnia. The players for the most part are fairly weak, however there are some decent players in the tournaments such as Hari, Omaha Ed, etc. The starting chips is 5k and the blinds start at 25-50 and increase every 30 minutes. It is a very good structure for the better players. Next $500 buy in tourney will be Feb 24th at NOON. See you all there.

Anyone know when the march tourny will be?and is it possible to sign up the day of the tourny or is it usually filled by then?

Each tourney is on the 'final' Friday of each month at NOON. I am expecting until there is some advertising out there you would be able to show up and pay then, but I would call ahead just in case.
