Your just figuring out K 8 doesn't make money. I found out at Rama how much it can cost you. Holding K 8 off in the big blind. Flop comes down K 8 10. I bet 2 more raises back to me.... cap...... turn K. cap...... river 2..... I raise until my opponent is all in..... what does he hold? K 10. Had one other hand same situation.... with Q J...... got my opponent all in...... he holds..... QJ... split pot. Couldn't take down a solo pot if I tried.
