Slow dealers/ players.

What do you guys do when you have people(s) that are slow to post the blind, don't know when it's their turn, etc? It's alright for a while but then it starts to grate on you after an hour so I'm looking for a way to remedy this without just not letting them play.

i've had this thing whenever i play any game..."for god's sake, pay attention!"..."yes it's your turn"..."hearts is trump"...i become the enforcer.

and then my frustration really started to annoy the people i was playing with, of course. so i decided that i have to remember my purpose when playing. is my goal to have fun? to spend time with friends? to make money?

for the most part...well, almost always, my goal is one of the first two.
since i determined that, i find i get annoyed with people not paying attention a lot less. sure i still catch myself, but i love to play games. and i like hangin with friends. it's not critical to life in general if the flow of the game isn't perfect and uninterupted.

so, basically, what i did was chill.

Yeah, I have been the 'Enforcer" as Dan so aptley put it. But then I sit back and think that I wouldnt want to lose my friends as card buddies so then I just ssit back. But it does get to you when its takes half an hour to play 4 hands of 4 handed hold em.
