Ben and Annie sitting in a tree...?
I'm not sure if anyone here has heard this or not but I "heard" that Ben affleck and Annie Duke were dating. I'm serious, one of my friends that is not into poker but is into reading "the star" and other types of celeb magazines told me this. From J-lo to Annie Duke, hmmmm.
On a side note, after watching Amir Vahedi get knocked out in the showdown at the sands and go over and talk to Annie Duke I have to say I lost a bit of respect for him when he said something like "blah blah blah...guy has AJ and calls me when I have AK, dumb players...etc etc" Amir was on the button and the guy that called was SB. I didnt think it was that bad of a call considering Amir was short stacked and had been stealing blinds prviously with Ax. Amir is likely one of my fav players, dissapointing to see him speak that way.

The rumors started at Bellagio during the prelim events proir to 25K big one. They were seen "looking chummy" at the bar across from the poker room.
It is fact that Annie coached Ben to play better poker.
Annie has 4 daughters, maybe 3 i forget. That is the other fact.

A few months ago, before the WPT Bellagio tourney and those events started up, Annie got up and moved with her girls to Oregon. She left Las Vegas behind.
Oddly enough she spent most of April and May in Vegas for all the tournies. She is now back at her new home in Oregon.
Her husbands name was Ben too, Ben Duke, so this could get confusing...

One thing I can say.
I know mnay people have watched the ESPN coverage over and overfrom the 03 Moneymaker world series. There is an episode where Annie has a long interview, it shows her at home with her daughters and husband. Her oldest daughter even has a mini interview where she talks about mom being such a great poker player.
Anyways, like I say they keep showing these damn reruns so I know you have all seen it. It makes you think about how happy Annie and her family are. Try to remember that this interview was from Early May of '03.
With that being said and to help out the rumours a little, Annie and her husband Ben Duke have actually been seperated since last November.
As I said Annie now lives in Oregon with the girls and husband Ben is either already out, or at least on the way out to moving to Los Angeles.
Is Annie missing the Ben lovin' or is she gettin her fill from the other?
