  • Saw this advertised, and thought I would give it view. But then a bud told me he saw it, and it was a far cry from being anything close to accurate. It seems that Sly needed to read a rule book on the game first. But honestly, I have yet to see it, so I will hold any further judgement until I do.
  • Warning - It will anger you if you like poker and rules.

The standard guy makes a big bet, the other guy has no chips left and a deal is struck for a car or some crap.

Shade and GBH Casino have something in common.
  • Stop watching after the card mechanic demonstrations during the opening credits. It's the best part of the film by a landslide.

  • I agree sadly, it isn't worth watching after the opening credits.
  • It contains some grossly entertaining plastic surgery
  • Trailer looks kinda cool, wish i could have checked it out... no rounders though.
  • I want the 2 hours of my life back from watching this movie even more than I want the first 2.5 hours of watching King Kong back.
  • Hi Guys, this is my first post, however i've been reading almost every post, and i would like to say that this is a great poker community, with excellent advice. Glad to be part of it.
Shade was by far the worst poker movie ever made. I stop it half way through i couldn't stand it. Rounders #1, and The Cincinati Kid #2
btw does anyone know if Tilt is coming out with season 2 ?
  • dont think there will be a second season. First one was ok kinda corny at times
  • I'm pretty sure there won't be a second season of Tilt. I haven't seen the first season but from what I have read, the ratings were low and it is done.
  • All I'm waiting for is for part II of Rounders with Matt Damon. Does anyone know if this is in the works? Probably so since the Poker is the biggest thing in town.

Another question, has anyone purchased/seen Phil Helmuth's DVD series? If so, what's you're take on his tips?
