Trip to vegas

Hi guys, im from Toronto and im planning on hitting up Vegas for a weekend or something.

Can anyone recommend some cheap, but nice hotels to saty at?
also flights? I have been checking itravel and other sites, but flights still seem a little expensive.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you don't mind travelling to Buffalo, Southwest is on sale currently. If you fly on a Tuesday or Wednesday the cost is $137.00 round trip including all taxes. If you fly any other days the cost is about $210.00. With the exchange the way it is these days this makes this a great deal.
