Hey folks,

Just a reminder to everyone, the first Tournament at the GBH this year will be held on January 11, 2006, we have just sold the 75th spot a few minutes ago, and this event will sell out in the next few days. Visit the web site for details on this and all of the Tournaments this year, and please note that players may use Visa or Mastercard to buy-in for any and all events. The February event is a CPT Major Event and is just about ½ sold out already.

Quick question... is it still a rule that you have to register in person for GBH tournaments? Can you call and give your VISA # over the phone yet?

Another question if I can add, when I come in on Wednesday, do I have to pay in cash, and my credit card gets refunded, or is my buy-in already submitted through my creditcard.

Hi Devin, you can enter any Tournament over the phone with a Visa or Mastercard ... toll free telephone number is 1.888.294.3766 ext.263. The web site http://www.greatblueheroncasino.com has all of the Tournament details including schedule, entry fees etc.

Question 2:

Hey Popkorn, the credit card buy-ins have already been submitted, they go through the day they are received.

Just as an added note, the February event is fast approaching being full, if the two new tables we are adding to the Poker Pit are in place and approved before the 8th of Feb. 2006 there will be an extra 22 spots available for the Tournament. But as of this post I can't promise if they will be in action or not.

If we do not have the 2 new tables in by then you can expect 1st place to be approx $23,000. Top 10 are paid out... I am not 100% sure of the payout structure..
