I joined the forum this past summer and have yet introduce myself or post anything interseting. I've been playing poker for a little more than a year, mainly no limit but have recently ventured into limit and am trying my hand at stud and omaha. I hate playing online but it scratches the itch. I'd also like add that reading the posts has helped my game immensly and the tetris available on the forum helps get me through my midnight shift. I live in the poker wasteland that is London, so if their are any home games in my area, i'd be interseted. Thanks again.

    Hey there, my first post here and have found the site interesting.

    I have been playing for almost 2yrs with a group of 200+ home players in Calgary, AB and love the sport. Was interested in findiing out if there are others going to the 200+20 CPT event in January.

    Funk, I'm from London as well, and it's hardly a wasteland. There a some big things happening. The real problem with London seems to be the lack of community. The KW guys seem to have the right idea. I'll keep you posted on anything I find out about.

    Go to your local cardroom and watch them rake for a few hours. You'll love online poker forever.

    After talking to some the boys at work, you've hit the nail on the dinobot. Poker in our city has no community. I guess "wasteland" is just me being frustrated with my innability to find more games. Hopefully that will change.

    Tryouts for the London Ryder Cup of Poker Team are this Sunday, as well I will be hosting a poker league shortly and we play a weekly game on thursday nights too if you are interested. I sent you a pm.

    Got it. I can't make sunday (famliy commitments), but the league sounds cool. Also, I'm good every third thursday for your home game if you've got a spot(dam shift work). thanks doc.
