    In this month's issue of Canadian Poker Player, Dave promises that details will be released in July about the upcoming Canadian Poker Tour, even if all of the details haven't been finalized.

    I'm going from memory here, but I believe he DID say that there will be sponsorship money :D and that events will be accessible to players across the country.

    That sounds pretty cool. Of course I'm a ways away from that now. But not far enough that I wouldn't want to be in the audience.

    Oh it's happening... there are two full-page 'teaser' ads for it in this month's CPP. I'm excited about it too, it should be awesome.

    I really can't give away too much right now. Suffice to say that we have, in consultation with Canadian casinos, designed a "tour" that will give every player in Canada a chance to take part if only in a small way.

    Everyone at Canadian Poker Player is REALLY excited about this project and I really hope it turns out as well as we think it will.

    I think that the idea of the CPT is a great idea. I know from previous experiences attending poker tournaments across the country, that putting a final table on TSN would interest alot of Canadians. And why not, there is nothing saying that we are not as good as the rest of the world.

    As far as Americans playing in the CPT, I don't see any reason that they wouldn't. There money is just as good as everyone else. As far as I am concerned, anyone from Russia want to play!!!! LOL :x

    wow, this would be so exciting. If the buy ins were cheap or if they had SATs to the main event, I would try it for sure.
