Habitual Limpers
I have been trying this play quite frequently and it has been working quite well. Im wondering if anyone else is using it or other variations.
I use this a little later in tourneys, lets say blinds are 100/200.
EP limp
MP limp
Im in cutoff with 56s-910s 22-88 and raise to 800. Note....I usually will not do this with UTG limp.
If I get action behind me I will slow down, if not I will make a 3/4 bet on the flop when checked to me no matter what the flop. If I get called on the flop and the turn goes check check, and my opponent checks the river I will make a big bet IF I think he will fold (broken flush, broken str8, weak A, small pp). If my opponent fires again on the turn I will release my hand.
You have to fire that bet out there on the flop or the whole play is worthless. Its tough sometimes staring at an ace but thats the whole point of the raise preflop. You have 2 ways to win, when you hit and when you represent.

Generally, if I get called on the flop, I am done with the hand. He has called, out of position. Unless I think I am ahead on the turn I usually give up the bluff at that point.
