What one thing that you changed, or leak that you plugged, made the most difference in your on-line tournament results?

  • Pushing before getting too short-stacked (not just online).
  • Playing the first 30-50 hands tighter than I was. Literally you have to almost squeak in my opinion. Playing the LAG here doesn't work. Let the maniacs sort themselves out and then join the party.
  • a seminar I paid for and DL'd on UB from KrazyKanuck on Tournament Strategy
  • Knowing when to change gears.
  • 3/4 pot sized bets into preflop raisers.
  • Deleting my online account. :D
  • stopped the slow play trickery in the first hour of a tourney... If I have a hand preflop, I let everyone know it with a raise.

    Later in the tourney "It's tricky - tricky tricky tricky"
