  • Do you think Idcowboy would limp preflop with 88, KK, TT? The way the betting has gone, it doesn't look like a set. If he's a slowplayer, there's no way he's popping that flop with the little raise...all that does is call attention to himself. I'd put him as pairing the King, possibly two pair, but no set.

I'd raise all in to shut out the other players.
  • I'd have to call.

If he likes to slowplay, going all-in here seems like an effort to protect his hand against a flush/straight draw. Worst case is he's already made a set, best case is he's trying to defend his aces. You might have him beat already.
  • The min re-raise on the flop is interesting. I think you should have re-raised to knock the others out here. Would he slowplay AA or KK pre-flop with 3 already in?

I guess I'd put tighty on AA, AK or 88, then. K8s or K4s? Not if your read is correct. KK and TT are less likely given your hand. Top 2pr - gotta call.
  • I call...

Let's give him something exotic, like Qd Jd... value raise the on the flop... picks up what he thinks are more outs on the turn... figures to buy it, with plenty of back-up.

Even tight-slow-playing villians don't really want to take KK unraised 6-handed to the flop... do they??
  • Reraise the flop and try to get all-in with anyone that wants to.
