Who pushes with deuces?

Right now I'm playing in a 180 person sit 'n' go on pokerstars. There were 105 people left, this guy at my table is on the button and moved all in with 2-2. He had about 1/2 of the average stack still with 10BB's left. Is this just crazy to me?

  • Who pushes with deuces?

we all know at least one person on this forum who does regularly...
  • Depends...

Did he expect to get any callers?

how many limpers in front of him?

Did he know someone would writer a bad beat post on a forum about it?

and at 10BB left he can do some damage if someone does call...
  • Lets scoop out his brain, hook it up to the thought machine and find out..
  • uhm there was 1 limper (me with 8-8) and the blinds left, the blinds were 50-100... his stack was 1000, it folded to me i had a big stack (6K) and i called, but i really didn't expect to see the ducks.
  • Next on the thought machine, who calls with snowmen...
  • there was no one to act after me and i was big stacked...
  • so he had an m of 6.5, and he decided to try and push and pick up the blinds plus your limp, or get called and hope it's a race so that he can potentially get back into yellow, and back into the tournament. is that such a horrible play? should he wait until his m is below 5? any pair is decent in late position when your m is getting low and nobody has opened. if his m gets too low he will start getting called by any two cards and it will be much tougher to get back into it. also, if the the blinds were about to rise then this play is a no brainer.
  • I played a live 1 2 nl game a week ago. Dude sits down with a rack of 1's. Looks at his first hand and calls all in. Guess what Pocket 2's. Had one caller with qq and his deuces lost. Some people will do crazy things with that hand.
  • Hmmmm.... deuces.... not sure.... but gimme 4s and I'll push...

... Ive made quads 3 times with them in the last year playing live... (the only 3 quads I've had this year) 'course B&M is rigged y'know! ;)
