My website
Hey all
I've been designing webpages for a very short time, but have finnally come up with a homepage of my own.
http://www.johnhartery.com
Its not poker related and is going to serve as my resume once I'm out of school in may.
You need flash to view it, and there is NO content yet -Â Â I would just appreciate some feedback on the design.
Thanks,
John
EDIT: If you like it, and know of anyone who needs a webpage, I am available for free consultations.

Comments
- the look is very cool.
- watch the size of the elements on a page. Screen resolution continues to grow and you need to be striking a balance between readbility and "coolness". The text is approaching "too small" levels.
- Is it suppsed to say something under the big "Hartley"? Can't read it (though might be intentional)
- The site supports 800x600 resolution which is good, but...
- the "graphic" takes up too much space. Viewing the site in 800x600 reveals that the main graphic takes up 60-75% of the first impression real estate. Actual content is at the bottom 1/5th of the screen. If there's content coming in the yellow clouds, then it may not be that bad, but basically the top 4/5ths is simply a menu system.
- Let us know when you add to it!
LMAO. I was thinking the same thing.
