I will be there for the hold'em tournaments at least. Maybe all of the events, I'm not sure.

There is a strong possibility I'll be there, but I'm not 100% sure. I think at least a couple of people on this forum are planning to go.

For anyone on the fence, check out www.casinoregina.com for details, www.pokerpages.com for past results to get an idea of what it will be like money-wise, and/or my Casino Regina trip report in this forum. It's a very well-run tournament, and as Dave has pointed out in the past, it's a perfect tournament for veterans and multi-table live tournament newbies alike.

I'll be there for sure.

I'll play the Omaha/8 and the Limit hold'em, I'm waffling on the No limit freeze out. I may just play in the ring games that day and then drive back to Winnipeg on Sunday.

Not sure yet.

Regrettably they have lost me for this tournament. They changed the format from there other tourn. And I for one do not approve. They still run a great tourn. But they took away the stud(which i like for fun). And made the nolimit on Sat, then the final table on Sunday. Which leaves me no time to get home.

So instead of stud-weds,omaha8-thurs, limit-fri, nolimit-sat. They have moved them back and removed the stud.

The $500 buy in No Limit, is not a big deal, as I usually get in for 3-4 hundred anyways but the final table thing bugs me pretty bad.

So I have decided instead to hit Vegas for a week of tournaments there.

So I have decided instead to hit Vegas for a week of tournaments there.

What's depressing to me is an Ottawa-Regina flight alone costs more that a Sun-Thurs Vegas flight and hotel package.

Nah, when I called Air Canada, they said the $670 would be enough. It went something like:

"We're in bancruptcy protection. We have no use for human limbs."
