    NO DOBUT ....

Funny thing is I wasn't hopping mad when he took it down.

I have a harder time when my AA gets cracked by 27o on a JK72Q board.

Just thought I would share that story.

  • ...So why is poker rigged?
  • Poker is rigged because lots of money exchanges hands.

Sports betting is the same way. Sports betting is also rigged.
Last night Pepperdine played a basketball game at Cal State University-Fullerton. The day line was CSUF to cover 7.5 points at home. In the hour leading up the game bettors pounded the home team all the way up to -9.5 pts by game time. This sent off warning bells in my head. The reason it did was because the 2 experts I use for college ball both picked Pepperdine to win the game by 8 and 7 points, which is a somewhat convincing prediction for a team getting 7.5 points.
The pregame line shift meant that lots of money was being dropped on the home team, CSUF, to cover anywhere from 7.5 to 9.5 pts.
When i followed the game i was not suprised to find a good competitive game. Pepperdine held a 1 point lead with 4 minutes left.
When the game ended the late bettors got paid. The home team went on an absurd rush with Pepperdine turning over the ball numerous times in the final 2 minutes.
Cal State Fullerton won the game by 10 and covered all lines.

Hmm... Maybe you should head down to Niagara for some 1-2 NL this x-mas break.

I'm sure you could find some people to go with you :)

  • Too bad you were left with 17.00 at a 2/4 table. Only missed out on 3.00, but, that could have been disastrous.

I started with 100 at the table and this night I got sucked out on sooooo many times. Worked my way back to 86 before calling it a night. I lost twice with set over set on the river.

I think you have to cap the river in limit holdem... Royal over quads is SO rare that you are losing money by not trying to extract as much as possible.
