300 into a 600+ pot? I'd have to call. BB could be playing a strong or weak Ace (maybe A6), flush draw, JJ, 66. Unlikely AA. I'd guess he's also banking on your weak image to hope for a fold. Top 2 pr is a pretty strong hand here. Sometimes you have to take a chance on going broke.

Given that you posted the hand it seems safe to assume that he had a set (66 probably) or his draw got there, so I would fold.

PS. Easy call against all but the rockiest rocks.

Yes... he showed 66 for the set and the wife goes broke... so I had to listen to the "I should have folded" talk all the way home... I couldn't convince her that it was a call.... (my street cred took a hit last week when she witnessed me get picked off on a river bluff!!!)... so maybe seeing all this in print will ease her mind.
